Hello I'm CARLA

It started with a VHS camera and a pile of stuffed animals.

My twin brother and I used to make movies as kids, captivated by the idea that you could hold onto a moment and feel it again, exactly as it was.

That feeling never left me. I studied audiovisual media and, more than ten years ago, began shooting weddings as a second camera, learning how real moments happen, and how fast they disappear if no one's there to hold onto them.

Around the same time, I was documenting Valle de Guadalupe's food and wine world, chefs who obsess over every ingredient, winemakers who treat their vines like family. People working with intention. It shaped the way I see weddings, too.

In 2024, I started filming weddings of my own under Carla Wedding Films, bringing everything those years had taught me into every couple's story.

A couple surrounded by everyone they love, standing at the start of a whole new chapter — that's a moment worth more than memory alone.

I'm based in Ensenada, filming documentary-style wedding films across Valle de Guadalupe and Baja California.
